Our Mission Statement
Peter Hobler

I am a passionate, creative, and adventurous soul. I am filled with
a deeply inspired passion to share stories that will change people’s
live by inspiring them and giving them hope.
The first such story to share is that of my brother Christopher Wells
Hobler. Chris’ life story is filled with passion, living one’s
dream, meeting his true love, starting a family, being on the verge
of ultimate success with his band Sonic Joyride, when tragedy strikes.
At the age of 35, Chris was diagnosed with ALS, which had a devastating
impact on his life, on his family and friends, and on everyone connected
with Sonic Joyride.
For most people, this would have been the end, but for Chris, his legacy
lives on 19 years after he died from ALS. In April 2023, thanks to Chris’
vision, the first ever drug for ALS was approved by the FDA.
Wait until you hear/see Chris’ story and hear his music…
you will be absolutely inspired and filled with heartfelt HOPE.
Rick Reese

industry. He's a graduate of Berklee College of Music, celebrated for
his innovative style, which seamlessly blends jazz improvisation, funk,
and the driving energy of rock 'n' roll. Throughout his musical journey,
Rick's talents have garnered recognition from esteemed publications
such as BILLBOARD, GUITAR MAGAZINE, MTV, and CNN. His performances are
distinguished by their high energy and masterful technique, a fact acknowledged
by Soundcheck Magazine during his electrifying 2015 Bonnaroo show.
Over the course of his career, Rick was a pivotal figure as a founding
member of SONIC JOYRIDE, an independent band that embarked on unconventional
and highly publicized "Bizarre Bazaar" tours, using their
custom tour bus, the Cosmic Sled, to craft a truly unique music experience.
He explored the jam band scene as the bassist for bands like FOOD in
St. Petersburg, Florida, and the John Sutton Band in Nashville, before
taking on the bassist role for HOMEMADE WINE, a jam-infused Southern
rock group known for consistently performing over 200 shows per year.
Later, he joined Riverbend Reunion, a gritty Southern rock band based
in Nashville, and ultimately adapted to the challenges of the pandemic
by forming PUZZLETRUCK with Stephen Blackburn and JB Hopkins, leading
to a new creative chapter in his musical journey. Throughout his career,
Rick has demonstrated adaptability, embraced creative exploration, and
remained unwavering in his commitment to the art of music.
